Blueberry Biscuits with Lemon Glaze Recipe

This recipe for blueberry biscuits with a lemon glaze makes for a delicious treat in any time of year!

Lush, ripe blueberries (or use dried!) in a flaky buttermilk biscuit with a sweet lemon glaze on the top make for a perfect mouth-watering appetizer.


- flour - baking powder - sugar - salt - butter  - blueberries - buttermilk

Mix the dry ingredients.

Cut the cold butter into the dry ingredients.

Step 1

Stir in blueberries and buttermilk.

Pat to 1″ thick on a floured surface. Cut into circles.

Step 2

Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet.

Bake at 450 degrees for 13 minutes.

Step 3

Make glaze while baking.

Step 4

Brush glaze onto hot biscuits immediately after coming out of the oven.
