Homemade Christmas Fudge Recipe

This yummy homemade Christmas fudge recipe is a perfect Christmas treat! It has been passed down for generations in my family and can be made with or without the nuts.

This homemade Christmas fudge pairs deliciously with homemade caramel pecan turtles and homemade caramels for Christmas parties, or as treats to be handed out while caroling.

Ingredients

- sweetened condensed milk OR evaporated milk - chocolate chips - Hershey's bars - marshmallow cream - sugar - nuts (optional)

Break candy bars into pieces and put into a large bowl. Add in all ingredients EXCEPT sugar and milk.

Step 1

Place sugar and milk in a pot on the stove and bring to a boil. Cook on medium heat for 8 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 2

Pour hot contents of pot directly into bowl that contains all the other ingredients. Stir quickly and allow everything to melt.

Step 3

Press pecan halves into sides of melted chocolate.

Step 4

You can even arrange in as turtle legs peeking out from the shell!

Step 5

Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.  Allow to cool completely and harden.
