Discussion
- Even though Deuteronomy 34:5–8 says that Moses died, latter-day understanding clarifies that he was translated, or changed so that he would not suffer pain or death until being resurrected (Alma 45:18–19).
- When Christ was on the earth, he took Peter, James, and John to the Mount of Transfiguration. There, Moses gave them the keys of the Priesthood.
- Then when Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet, those three came and gave him the same Priesthood that Moses gave them.
- Why is it important that the Priesthood be passed on by the laying on of hands?
- How has this Priesthood blessed our lives?
