Family Home Evening for Come Follow Me 1/26 for Kids
Song
Family History—I Am Doing It (Children’s #94)
Scripture
Lesson
- Most of Genesis 5 is a list of the generations between Adam and Eve and Noah. We read a lot of names, but we don’t learn much about them.
- Then we read about Enoch being taken by God. Surely there’s a story behind that verse! But without further explanation, the list of generations resumes. Thankfully, Moses 6 reveals the details of Enoch’s story—and it’s quite a story.
- Adam and Eve kept a book of rememberance. Why do you think they did that?
- How could we make our own book of rememberance?
Activity
Make a timeline of the people from Adam to Enoch, and then add to it as you study the Old Testament.
Treat
Your favorite type of sweet bread.
