Discussion
- When Paul taught the gospel and performed miracles, he was doing so to people who worshiped false idols.
- What did the people give up in order to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ?
- Have you ever had to give anything up in order to receive heavenly blessings?
- It isn’t always possessions. We can give up music or TV shows, for example. What blessings come from sacrificing worldly things?
- Some of the non-believers became angry, because they were the ones who were selling the false idols and they were losing money. There were riots, and Paul had to leave and go to another country.
