Family Home Evening for Come Follow Me 3/15 for Kids

Lesson
- This week we are going to study a lot of parables. What is a parable?
- Look for some of the items Jesus mentions in His parables: a seed, some leaven or bread, a pearl, a net, and so on.
- What does Jesus want us to learn from these parables?
- Write down several simple principles of the gospel on small papers (prayer, forgiveness, share the gospel) and put them in a jar.
- Have each family member pick one out and think of a parable or analogy for that principle.
Activity
Draw a picture of one of the parables you came up with.

Please don’t feel as though you have to use every single question, journal entry, or activity. Just make sure you look at the activity in advance so you can gather any materials they may require.
Here is a general outline for each devotional for Come Follow Me 3/15:
