Scripture of the Week for Come Follow Me 7/7 for Kids
Work on memorizing this scripture with your children during the week for Come Follow Me 7/7: Doctrine and Covenants 76:22-24
And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives!
For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father—
That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.

Monday Devotional
Song
He Sent His Son (Children’s #34)
Scripture
Doctrine and Covenants 76:12-19, 96-98
Discussion
- Joseph Smith was still translating the Bible. When he read John 5:29, he and Sidney Rigdon had questions about heaven.
- D&C 76, which we will spend all week studying, is the answer to that prayer.
- We will talk about how heaven is more than just one place. There are three different levels. Each level is called a kingdom or degree of glory. They are compared to the sun, moon, and stars. The Celestial Kingdom is the sun, the Terrestrial Kingdom is the moon, and the Telestial Kingdom is the stars.
Journal Entry
Cut out the “My Life Is a Gift; My Life Has a Plan” (January 2008 Liahona and Friend) diagram and glue it into your journal.
Activity

Tuesday Devotional

I Lived in Heaven (Children’s #4)
Scripture
Doctrine and Covenants 76:20-29, 39-44
Discussion
- Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon saw that all of the spirits lived with Heavenly Father and Jesus before coming to earth.
- They bore strong testimony about the Savior. What did they say about Him?
- They also saw Satan (Lucifer). What do we learn about him?
- Satan and his followers will not go to any of the levels of heaven. They will go to a place called “Outer Darkness.” They hate us and want to get us to make wrong choices so we can’t go to live with Heavenly Father again in the Celestial Kingdom.
- Jesus died for us so that we can repent and not have to go to outer darkness.
Journal Entry
What is my testimony of the Savior?
