One of the best ways to foster a love of General Conference in children is by helping them be involved from a young age.
Sometimes watching General Conference at home with your children looks like this:

But honestly, most of the time General Conference looks like this:
Even adults know that it’s difficult to just sit for 8-10 hours in a weekend, so we like to do things that help our kids actually ENJOY listening. After spending years using these free 30 General Conference activities, we decided to make our own free General Conference printable for everyone to use.
What is General Conference?
If you are unfamiliar with General Conference, it’s when the living prophet (like Moses or Noah, but alive now!) and the apostles (just like Peter, James, and John) speak the world messages from God.
General Conference is a gathering of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), held biannually every April and October at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. During each conference, members of the church gather in a series of two-hour sessions to listen to sermons from church leaders. It consists of four general sessions, plus an addition session for adults.
You can listen to and watch prior General Conference sessions here.
Even though it is held in Salt Lake City, General Conference is considered an international event for the church. The sessions are broadcast worldwide in over 90 languages, primarily through local and international media outlets, and over the Internet.
One tradition we have is to make these delicious homemade cinnamon rolls (see the picture below) and incredible pancakes.
