Scripture of the Week for Come Follow Me 9/22 for Kids

And I will give him grace and assurance wherewith he may stand; and if he continue to be a faithful witness and a light unto the church I have prepared a crown for him in the mansions of my Father. Even so. Amen.

Devotionals for Come Follow Me 9/22 for Kids

Remember that these are guidelines for you to use in your daily Come, Follow Me 9/22 devotionals with your children!  Please don’t feel as though you have to use every single question, journal entry, or activity.  Just make sure you look at the activity in advance so you can gather any materials they may require.

Here is a general outline for each devotional for Come Follow Me 9/22:

  • Start by singing the song together and saying a prayer
  • Read the scripture together, then your family can have a discussion using the questions/comments provided.
  • Copy the journal entries into a spiral notebook.  The child or the parent can write the question at the top, after which the child can write or draw an answer.

  • Section 107 is about the organization of the Church and the responsibilities for different offices of the Melchizedek Priesthood and Aaronic Priesthood: the First Presidency, the Quorum of the 12, the Quorum of the 70, and the Bishop.
  • What are some of the priesthood ordinances? (Sacrament, baptism, temple, etc.)
  • Why is it important to have the priesthood restored?
  • Look at the page in the General Conference Liahona (or here on the Church’s website) at the leaders of the Church. How can we support them from far away?
