Fun Fall Kids Activities To Keep Them Busy
To make the most of Fall, here are 13 fun kids fall activities that you can do together.
Fall is in the air! The crisp air, the colorful leaves, and the scent of pumpkin bring joy to the heart of every child, especially when you add in fun Fall activities for the whole family.
One of the best things about the autumn season is that as the air cools, kids want to get outside more and spend quality time with the entire family. It’s a nice break from the oppressive heat of summer! We love finally getting out of the hot weather when we feel like we’re going to litereally melt. (We live in Houston. It’s hot here!)
Fall also brings the start of the school year, which means that you have less time together as a family. Check out the rest of my Fall guides to help you plan a Fall like no other. You know, after a long day of school and work, you may not want to do much at the end of the day. It’s tempting to just veg in front of the TV, but don’t do that!
To help your family enjoy the chillier weather, I’ve collected this list of some fun fall activities for kids that your family can do!

Fall is synonymous with pumpkins! A day at the local pumpkin patch will get kids excited and often offers more than just the chance to pick out the perfect Jack-O'-Lantern candidate. Many patches have expanded into full-blown Fall festivals, complete with hayrides, corn mazes, and petting zoos.
Children can learn about different types of pumpkins, how they grow, and even the history of pumpkin carving. Plus, a pumpkin patch provides the perfect setting for those adorable fall photos that you'll cherish for years to come. Once you've picked out your pumpkins, extend the fun by carving or painting them together back home. This hands-on experience helps improve motor skills and sparks creativity in kids, all while building lasting memories.
