Chocolate Strawberry Greek Yogurt Bark

Learn how to make a healthy, sweet treat perfect for summer or anytime you need a sugar fix! This Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Bark is made with greek yogurt, honey, and your favorite toppings – I prefer chocolate and strawberries. And they last in the freezer for convenient snacking!

We are constantly looking for a healthy treat that my kids will actually eat it. Buying prepackaged, healthy snacks from the store can be expensive, even when you buy in bulk. So when I find a treat my kids will actually eat that doesn’t take a ton of effort to throw together, it’s a miracle!

Well this Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Bark definitely feels like a miracle – and tastes like one too! Our kids LOVE this frozen greek yogurt bark, especially after playing outside in the Texas heat, and I love it as a late night snack to satisfy those chocolate cravings. Plus, it comes together quickly with ingredients you probably already have in your pantry!

These are pretty easy to make, and even better, they’re healthy! You can also easily adapt them to your own tastes by changing up what toppings you include in your yogurt bark. Chocolate and strawberry is a classic combination, but we also love adding nutella or coconut!

Your family will love this chocolate strawberry bark, too! And if you’re craving some other rich chocolatey goodness, try this No Bake Nutella Cheesecake with Oreo Crust or this Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate.

Ingredients for Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Bark

Here are all the ingredients you need for this recipe for chocolate strawberry greek yogurt bark:

  • 2-3 c strawberry greek yogurt (more is better)
  • 1 1/2 c sliced or diced strawberries
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (or other oil that is solid at room temp)
  • 1/2 c chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c nutella (optional)
  • sea salt to taste (optional)

How to Make Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Bark

Please make sure to soak your strawberries in cool water and baking soda before using them!

For in-depth instructions on how to wash your strawberries effectively, check out Southern Living’s blog post. It really does make a difference! Look at what was left over in the water after soaking my strawberries in the baking soda mixture. And this was after I had already rinsed the strawberries with water beforehand. Gross!

Lay out parchment paper on a baking sheet. Spread strawberry yogurt into a smooth layer on parchment paper. Place in freezer for 1-2 hours.

Evenly slice or dice strawberries based on your preference. Spread strawberries on top of frozen yogurt in a single layer.

Melt chocolate chips, nutella, and coconut oil in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between. Do this until chocolate is thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle chocolate mixture over strawberries depending on how thick you want your chocolate layer to be. (I love chocolate so our layer here is pretty thick!). If you want to include sea salt, this is when you would sprinkle a little bit over the whole thing.

Replace in freezer over night (or at least a 4 hours).

Once completely frozen, use a pizza cutter to cut bark to desired size. This will melt in your hands quickly so sometimes smaller pieces are better!
