Before our children are baptized at eight years old, we ask them to read the Book of Mormon on their own in order to gain a testimony of it for themselves.

We also study the Book of Mormon and other books of scripture together as a family in our daily Come Follow Me devotionals (which we share for free here on Saving Talents).

However, we really want our children to be able to learn how to study and learn from the scriptures – especially the Book of Mormon – and not just read it straight through.

We’ve therefore made this Book of Mormon study guide for our older children, but it works really well for teenagers and adults as well!
