No Bake Cookies Recipe

This homemade recipe for no bake cookies is a delicious combination of oatmeal, cocoa powder, and peanut butter.. You won’t stop at just one!

Check out this delicious recipe for no bake cookies! It’s one of my all-time favorites.

You know how there are some foods you just can’t seem to get enough of, no matter how many times you make them? That’s these cookies for me.

(Along with these Peanut Butter Cheerios.)

Just like my recipe for Chicken, Broccoli, & Rice Casserole with Curry, which I could eat every single day, I can’t get these no-bake cookies to last more than a week at my house – and that’s with me being the only one eating them.

Not only are they a bit healthy (they have oatmeal and peanut butter, after all, right?) and can increase breast milk supply, but they taste amazingly delicious.

I like to make a bunch at one time and then store them in the freezer!

Ingredients for No Bake Cookies

This is enough for about a dozen cookies. Honestly, I usually double or triple it, and they last a week or so.

Don’t judge me.

Here are the ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions for No Bake Cookies

Combine margarine, milk, sugar, and cocoa in a pot..

Bring to a boil at medium-high heat and stir constantly.

Cook for 1-2 minutes. (The longer it cooks, the more dry and crumbly the cookies become).

Remove from heat and mix well.

Now add the remaining ingredients – oats, peanut better, and vanilla – and mix well.

Scoop onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper

Leave out or put in the fridge until firm.

I actually like to put them in the freezer once they’ve set up. They are delicious when cold, and I eat them a bit slower.

I hope you love them as much as I do!
