Baby showers are a super common activity. After all, who doesn’t love to get together with friends and celebrate babies?

I was pretty disappointed when COVID hit just a few weeks before I had my third kid. We ended up doing a virtual baby shower, which was still fun, but it just wasn’t the same.

It wasn’t about the gifts – it was about getting together with friends before I spent the next six (or so) months at home with an infant, a bit of a slave to my breast pump.

At my first baby shower, we played a fantastic baby shower game based on memory that I still love to this day! I try to do it at every baby shower (or baby sprinkle) that I organize.

Our church has a lot of pregnant women right now, so every few weeks there’s another baby shower (or baby sprinkle).

It can be hard if you’re the one throwing those, and you’re on a bit of a budget. You want to have it be special for the mom-to-be, but you can’t afford to be extremely ornate and extravagent. You can find some great baby shower items on Amazon, but nothing beats free!
